Globsyn, since the start of its operations, be it in training, education or skill development, has always looked at the requirements of the industry. Mr. Bikram Dasgupta, Founder and Executive Chairman, Globsyn was an industry man himself, and had close to twenty years of experience working in the industry before he started the organization. Out of the twenty years, Mr. Dasgupta spent the first ten as executive and the next ten as an entrepreneur. His tenure in the industry allowed him to sit on both sides of the table and observe the agony and joy experienced by either when involved in resource development exercises. There is a wide gap between the skills required in industry and those provided by the education system. To bridge this gap Globsyn, with its background of continuous ‘Innovation in Education’, has designed the Post Graduate Program in Management Skills (PGPMS) curriculum, which is an amalgamation of relevant education and qualitatively good skills. Based on Globsyn’s concept of ‘EduSkills’, PGPMS equips students to become skilled industry-ready professionals ready to take on corporate responsibilities from day-zero.

Globsyn has tied up with the ManpowerGroup, to offer a one-of-its-kind Post Graduate Programme in Management – Human Resource – PGPM (HR) that presents a solution to a need that has always existed in the industry but rarely been addressed – the need for skilled HR managers. A two-year programme, the first year is dedicated to classroom learning at Globsyn Business School campus. The second year entails apprenticeship at ManpowerGroup offices.
